Glossy displays, though generally providing richer contrast and vibrant colors, have a talent for catching reflections and announcing fingerprints. Anti-glare displays, however, provide little appeal for the self-admiring and keep button-lipped under the bright lights of FBI interrogations.
Though best suited for homely criminals, the anti-glare display is also advantageous to those with a penchant for showing movies to children on their laptops, anyone aspiring to watch youtube videos on the beach, and folks who tend to work under lightbulbs.
