Installing a SSD instead of Optical Drive on MacbookPro13"

My Problem

I was installing a SSD instead of my optical drive. The disk wasn't showing up on the Mac. At first I thought the caddy I got was defected but after exchanging it I figured I broke the connector

My Fix

replace the adaptor
