The Aluminum 12" 1 GHz is made for ease of transportation, but don't sacrifice size for performance. Upgrade to a 1 GB RAM chip and a 320 GB ATA hard drive to keep your laptop running like a champ. You can even upgrade the optical drive to a 8x SuperDrive to ensure fast CD and DVD burning. If your PowerBook has wireless trouble, throw in a replacement Airport Extreme Card and you will be ready for all the wireless net surfing you want to do while laying in bed on a lazy Saturday morning.
