San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
Please make sure that your money order is in US Dollars and drawn from a US Bank.
If you are paying by credit card, your credit card statement will show a charge from IFIXIT.
All orders paid via credit card are subject to billing address verification. The address that you enter as your billing address must be the address at which you receive your credit card statement. All orders for which the billing address does not match are subject to cancellation without prior notice.
Orders with a shipping address different from the stated billing address may require additional verification. To speed the verification process, please ensure that the shipping address for the order is listed as an alternate address with your credit card company. If the shipping address is not listed on your credit card as an alternate address, we reserve the right to require additional documentation or cancel your order.
Shipping ¶
We normally ship your order within 24 hours if it's in stock and it's not Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday.
You will receive a shipment tracking number for all UPS and FedEx shipments. UPS and FedEx do not ship to PO Boxes, APO, FPO, or DPO address. If you need to ship to a PO Box, APO, FPO, or DPO address, you must choose USPS as your shipping method.
We ship to all 50 states (including US territories and APO/FPO addresses).
International shipping information is available below.

Undeliverable Packages ¶
Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, you will be issued a full refund for the product, and a coupon for the shipping charges.
Orders that are returned to us as undeliverable are not able to be reshipped. If you would still like to purchase the items that were undeliverable, you are welcome to place a new order on our website using the coupon provided.
Rejecting receipt of a package is considered returning the package and may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Any fees and shipping charges incurred will be rebilled to the customer.
If you suspect your order cannot be delivered as addressed and you have not received confirmation of its return or refund after 6 weeks from the estimated delivery date, please contact iFixit Support.
International Shipping ¶
iFixit's mission is a global mission. We are committed to providing excellent service and support for the global community. With that being said, international shipping can be complicated so we want to provide you as much information as we can. If after reading all of this, you have specific questions, please contact us and we'll be happy to help you.
For some first time international orders, we may ask for a credit card verification form in order to process your order. It protects the cardholder and iFixit against fraudulent transactions.
When using your credit card, you will be billed in USD Currency and your credit card company will bill you with your local currency at the current exchange rate.
International shipments may be subject to import taxes, duties and/or customs fees. These fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient. If a shipment is refused and returned, you will be responsible for any import taxes and/or return shipping costs incurred by iFixit. These fees are specific for the destination country. Therefore, we do not know what the amount will be. The shipping and handling fee applied by iFixit at checkout does NOT cover any duties, taxes or brokerage fees. Please be prepared to pay these fees when your package is delivered. If the package is refused or returned to us, all customs charges or fees will be charged to you. For more details about import fees, check out the Explanation of International Duties, Taxes, and other fees section below.
Sometimes your country's customs department will require additional information in order to clear your shipment for delivery. If they ask you for an invoice or commercial invoice, you can find a copy of that by looking at your order history under your profile. If you need further assistance, please contact us.
Check out the International Shipping FAQs for some of the common questions regarding international shipping.

Explanation of International Duties, Taxes and other fees:
Taxes and Duties- These are applied by your country's customs department based on the value and characteristics of whatever is being imported. Every country has their own unique regulations and procedures.
Brokerage Fees- They are fees charged by a company to facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers. The brokerage fee is charged for services such as negotiations, sales, purchases, delivery, or advice on the transaction. In the case of importing shipments, brokerage companies often serve as the means by which the shipment is cleared through a country's customs and border protection department. These services often can incur a fee. Depending on a country's customs clearance procedures, a brokerage company will take care of the paperwork and deal with the hassle of importing a package.
In some countries, you can avoid these brokerage fees by clearing the package yourself at a customs facility. Check your country's customs laws and see if it's possible. You can also contact the shipping carrier and ask if you can clear the package yourself. Be sure to have your tracking number for them to reference.
Ancillary Fees- That's basically a big word for extra fees applied by the shipping carrier. These fees can include things like storage fees, expedited clearance fees and fees for having to correct customs documentation. Your customs bill should have a breakdown of what the fees are if they are applied. Most shipments don't incur hefty ancillary fees, but you should check with how certain shipping carriers deal with ancillary fees.
FedEx has a breakdown of the different country-specific ancillary fees that can be applied:

Returns ¶
Arrangements for a return must be made within 15 days of the date the item is shipped.
Returned items that are not defective will be charged a restocking fee of 15% (minimum $5.00), and shipping will not be refunded. Alternatively, we will provide 90% of the purchase price in store credit for your returned item. ($5.00 minimum still applies.)
If you return a new item that has been opened and is not defective, we will use the price of an equivalent used item to determine the refund amount, and will charge the restocking fee mentioned above.
Outgoing and return shipping charges for any non-defective returns are the sole responsibility of the customer. If we are at fault, iFixit will provide a return shipping label and/or reimburse return shipping charges for standard, non-expedited shipping methods. Any shipping charges billed to an iFixit shipping account and not explicitly authorized by iFixit will be rebilled to the customer.
Please contact our support department for an RMA number before sending anything to us. RMA numbers are valid for 10 days from the date of issue. All packages received without an RMA number will be charged a 25% restocking fee ($5 minimum). Rejecting receipt of a package is considered returning the package and may be charged up to a 25% restocking fee.
