[* black] Insert the edge of an iPod opening tool under the steel mid plane near the bottom left corner of the Touch.
[* black] Pry upward to separate the plate from the adhesive securing it to the plastic inner case.
[* icon_cautionyellow] Use extreme care, the speaker is under the area shown in photophoto and sticks to the plate. It is connected with very thin and short wires. Be sure to separate the speaker from the plate before trying to lift it.
