[* black] In some cases, the glue underneath the battery (as marked in the picture) seems rigidly holding the battery resulting almost impossible to pull-up as expected. In such case, using Spudger, it can be spade up gradually. Be careful not to use too much force causing some damages to the battery itself.

[* black] The battery connector is different than the one in the 3G and 3GS. Fortunately, the battery is not soldered to the logic board. This will make battery replacement on the iPhone 4 fairly easy to accomplish.
