Vostro 1720 Hard Drive Replacement

In this guide, we will be showing you how to remove and replace the Hard Drive.

What you need

  1. Vostro 1720 Hard Drive Replacement, Sliding the Latches: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Slide the battery lock latches into the unlocked position.

    • Slide the battery toward the back of the computer to remove.

    • Remove the screw that secures the hard drive access panel to the base of the computer.

    • Insert a plastic scribe into the slot and lift up the access panel, then remove the panel from the computer.

    • Remove the two screws that secure the hard drive in place.
