The XLR cable connects the microphone with the sound mixer and speakers.

Hold the microphone in one hand.

Depress the button on XLR cable with the other hand.

To attach the cable to the microphone, line up the holes in the cable with the three pins in the microphone base. Then push the cable into the base of the microphone until you hear a click.
