Trek 820 Tail Light Mounting Bracket Replacement

What you need

  1. Trek 820 Tail Light Mounting Bracket Replacement, Tail Light Mounting Bracket: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Obtain one tail light mounting bracket and one screw as shown in the picture.

    • The screw should be removed from the mounting bracket.

    • Clean the bicycle seat post and mounting bracket.

    • Wrap the mounting bracket strap around the seat post.

    • Verify the larger piece rests towards the tail end aligned with the tires.

    • Verify the bracket's screw hole is on the right side of the bicycle.

    • Locate the slot on the bracket where the strap will be inserted.

    • Insert the strap into the slot.

    • Tighten the strap just enough to keep the bracket in place.

    • Insert the screw into the bracket screw hole.

    • Tighten the screw with fingers until the mounting bracket rests freely on seat post.
