Instructions on how remove the LCD display.

Edit Step 1 Outer Casing  ¶ 

  • Remove the 8 screws from the sides and bottom of the camera using a number 0-0 screw driver.

  • Remove the rear panel by carefully prying it away from the left side.

  • Be careful not to damage the three green cables as you remove the rear panel of the camera.

  • Gently pry the front cover of the camera off with a plastic spudger.

  • Remove the side covers.

  • Using a number 0-0 screwdriver, remove the three screws holding the top

  • Remove the 8 black screws connecting the rear panel and the green keypad chip using a number 0-0 screwdriver.

  • Caution: Do not put any force on the green wires, as you could snap them.

  • You can now separate the rear panel from the rest of the camera

Edit Step 8 LCD Display  ¶ 

  • Using a spudger, gently pry the LCD screen from the left side.

  • Caution:The LCD screen is connected to the camera by a ribbon wire.

Edit Step 9  ¶ 

  • The black connector must be removed very gently.

  • Gently lift the side with the wire going into it.

  • Then push the connector out from the opposite side.

  • Remove the flat wire and the LCD screen from the rest of the camera.

Edit Step 10  ¶ 

  • Using a number 0-0 screw driver, remove the four screws holding the LCD panel.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
