SG 552-1 Commando Motor Replacement

What you need

  1. SG 552-1 Commando Motor Replacement, Motor: step 1, image 1 of 2 SG 552-1 Commando Motor Replacement, Motor: step 1, image 2 of 2
    • Using a Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the two 6mm screws located at the bottom of the hand grip.

    • Slide the cover off.

  2. SG 552-1 Commando Motor Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Pull the motor out from the inside of the hand grip.

    • Using a soldering iron and desoldering wick, desolder the wires from the motor.

  3. SG 552-1 Commando Motor Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Using a soldering iron, solder the wires onto the new motor.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
