#00 Philips Screws
- iPhone 4 5-Point Pentalobe Screwdriver
- Small suction cup
- Spudger

Step 2
— Open the iPhone

You need a iPhone 4/4S 5-Point Pentalobe Screwdriver to remove the screws on the bottom.

With a Small suction cup lift the screen

Do not remove the screen at this moment, you need to disconnect the screen cable

— Unplug screen cable

Remove this 3 #00 Philips screws (The screwdriver is included in 26 bit driver set)

Then, lift the aluminium cover and with the spudger, unplug the screen cable from its socket

— Battery

Remove this (another) 3 #00 Philips screws securing the battery connector

With the spudger, lift the battery conector from its socket

With the help of the tab "Authorized service provider only" and a spudger, lift the battery

The battery has mild adhesive, so don't pull it with excessive force, remove it slowly.

When reassembling, it isn't necessary to reapply new glue
