Add Note Edit Step 1 — Battery  ¶ 

  • This guide will teach you how to replace your battery on your iPhone 5.

Add Note Edit Step 2 — Open the iPhone  ¶

Add Note Edit Step 3 — Unplug screen cable  ¶ 

  • Remove this 3 #00 Philips screws (The screwdriver is included in 26 bit driver set)

  • Then, lift the aluminium cover and with the spudger, unplug the screen cable from its socket

Add Note Edit Step 4 — Battery  ¶ 

  • Remove this (another) 3 #00 Philips screws securing the battery connector

  • With the spudger, lift the battery conector from its socket

  • With the help of the tab "Authorized service provider only" and a spudger, lift the battery

  • The battery has mild adhesive, so don't pull it with excessive force, remove it slowly.

  • When reassembling, it isn't necessary to reapply new glue
