This guide includes four methods to repair a lens that has stopped extracting or "E-18" error.

  • Author: Tim
  • Time required: 5 minutes
  • Difficulty: Very easy

Canon "E-18 error" happens when the lens gets stuck in the extended position. The LCD will display a little E-18 in the lower-left corner and start beeping.
