Add Note Step 13

  • Remove the three 4 mm hex nuts using a nut driver or needle-nosed pliers.

  • Lift the modem partially out of the computer, disconnecting the modem cable before pulling it entirely away.

Add Note Step 15 — PC Card Cage

  • Place the computer on edge (with the display open).

  • Remove the black bumper and disconnect the Airport Extreme cable beneath it.
