Remove the three 4 mm hex nuts using a nut driver or needle-nosed pliers.
Lift the modem partially out of the computer, disconnecting the modem cable before pulling it entirely away.
Place the computer on edge (with the display open).
Remove the black bumper and disconnect the Airport Extreme cable beneath it.
