PlayStation Vita SIM Card Replacement

Introduction

This guide takes you through the process of replacing the SIM card on the PlayStation Vita.

What you need

  1. PlayStation Vita SIM Card Replacement, SIM Card: step 1, image 1 of 2 PlayStation Vita SIM Card Replacement, SIM Card: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Use your fingernail to peel open the SIM card tray door.

    • Hook a spudger or your fingernail into the small indent on the gray SIM card tray. Pull the SIM card tray straight out.

    • Remove the orange SIM card from the gray tray.

    • The SIM card rests loosely in the tray and may just fall out.

Please note that the PlayStation Vita is SIM locked in multiple regions, requiring a specific carrier’s SIM card to work. This includes the United States, which is locked to AT&T.
