Lift the bottom shield off.

Your laptop should look approximately like this.
Step 18
Remove the single Phillips screw on the left side of the fan (there may be two screws).
Lift the fan out of its housing and disconnect it from the logic board.
Congratulations! You have now removed your item. To reassemble simply follow the directions in reverse order.
