This guide will show the steps for replacing the LCD screen of the s710a if it has been damaged and needs to be replaced or repaired. This can also be used to check the connection between the screen and the motherboard.

Edit Step 1 — Battery ¶

Remove the back cover by sliding it off.

Edit Step 2 ¶

Once the back cover is removed, pull out the battery using your finger as shown.

Edit Step 3 ¶

The battery can now be replaced if desired.
- The battery is a 780 mAh rechargeable Lithium Ion battery.

Edit Step 4 — LCD Screen ¶

Remove the four 6mm phillips head screws located beneath the battery.
- Set aside the screws in a designated container so that they can easily be found during reassembly.
