Antenna Installation is also straightforward, requiring no tools, but does require prior battery removal knowledge. During antenna installation, make sure to remove both the antenna and guide tube for completion.

Add Note Edit Step 1 — Battery  ¶ 

  • Turn Samsung SCH3500 around so that the back is facing you. Depress locking tab on the back of the phone with a finger or thumb.

  • Slide battery toward bottom of the phone, ~1/4 inch, to clear the hooks that keep it secured to the back of the phone.

  • Lift battery away from phone case.

  • The battery is now removed from the device. Congratulations.

Add Note Edit Step 4 — Antenna  ¶ 

  • Grasp antenna firmly and rotate counterclockwise to unscrew it from the phone.

  • When unscrewed, pull the antenna straight up and out.

Add Note Edit Step 6  ¶ 

  • Pull guide tube free from its retaining ring and slide it out the top, like the antenna (optional).

  • The antenna and its guide tube are now removed from the phone. Congratulations.
