Add Note Edit Step 2  ¶

  • Lightly push down on the top of the ink. This should make it come out easily.

  • Be advised that there is a 'key' or groove to stop you installing new cartridges back incorrectly.

  • Now, with the old ink cartridge removed from the printer, push the new cartridge in with the key on the cartridge orientated on the right hand side, otherwise it won't fit correctly.

Add Note Edit Step 4  ¶

  • Calibrate the ink cartridges as shown on the screen to make sure the printer is recognising the new cartridges.

  • If the printer does not recognize an ink cartridge, you can try removing and reinstalling the cartridge, and try again.

  • If you only have black on hand, the printer will work in "ink backup mode" but prints slower and for the color, this can potentially make the color run out of one color or 2
