Installing Dell Inspiron 1525 Battery

Remove or replace your Dell Inspiron 1525 battery.

Use this guide to remove your Dell Inspiron 1525 battery to prevent accidentally shocks or shorts during repairs, or to replace it.

Add Note Edit Step 1 — Battery  ¶ 

  • Locate the battery release switch on the bottom of the laptop.

Add Note Edit Step 2  ¶ 

  • Slide the battery release switch away from the lock symbol until you hear the battery click.

  • Slide the battery towards the back of the laptop until it comes free.

Add Note Edit Step 3  ¶ 

  • Remove the cover that has the heatsink by unscrewing 9 screws highlighted in red

  • These screws are all captive except the screw with a lock by it

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
