Add Note Edit Step 9 — Logic Board  ¶ 

  • Turn the phone so it is facing down.

  • Use tweezers to remove the two round connectors on the top of the logic board pulling up.

  • The cables connected to the connectors are hooked into the logicboard.

  • Use the tweezers to remove the flat connector in the lower corner of the logic board.

  • Lift the logicboard with your fingers.

  • Be careful when lifting the logicboard as the connectors underneath are delicate.

  • Use tweezers to remove the three ribbon connectors.

  • Remember that the ribbon cable connectors are delicate.

  • Lift the logic board out using an upward moving motion.

Add Note Edit Step 13 — Faceplate  ¶ 

  • Insert pry tool and lift up on the four highlighted tabs.

  • Lift the faceplate off in an upward motion.

Add Note Edit Step 14 — Trackpad  ¶ 

  • Use the plastic pry tool to remove the three tabs holding the track pad restrainer in place.

Add Note Edit Step 15  ¶ 

  • Turn the phone over so it is facing upwards.

  • Lift the track pad restrainer away from the device.

Add Note Edit Step 16  ¶ 

  • Pull The track pad away from the device.

  • Ribbon cable that attaches the track pad to the logic board is threaded through the device. Make sure the remove the track pad slowly to prevent the ribbon cable from breaking.
