What you need

    • Use a spudger or a pick and insert it into the small hole on the back side of the earbuds. Use it to pry the two halves of the earbud apart gently.

    • Don't use a screwdriver to pry the device as the delicate internal components are just inside the earbud.

    • Use a spudger to lift the motherboard out of the earbud gently. This should reveal the backside of the motherboard.

    • The motherboard is connected to speaker cables so don't pull the motherboard out yet.

    • The motherboard and other components can be damaged using tools such as a screwdriver or metal spuder to pry. Use ESD safe tools like a spudger or opening tool instead.

    • Now on the backside of the motherboard, detach the small red and black wires attached on the speaker to the motherboard using a spudger.
