Changing ink in an HP Photosmart Plus printer.
- Author: nick
- Difficulty: Very easy
this one uses individual ink and just as easy.
Uses 564 or 564XL but the shape that is printed has to match if replacing a empty ink or it will say "incompatible cartridge".
so,i recommend you bring the old ink to the store and match the shape if not refilling or getting remanufactured or having a pro refill

Edit Step 4 ¶
Line up the ink with the printhead and the knotch it belongs to, then push down
But this, unlike the c4780,you can stick a Cyan ink into Magenta but it will read "incorrect print cartridge" and leave the stain of the wrong ink (thus you need to clean the stain out)
The black cartridge can be a challenge to fit correctly, especially if it is the standard capacity. The slot is better fit a larger capacity cartridge which is better then the standard so i recommend the XL over standard
