Having trouble with internet connection? You may have to replace your Wifi chip. This guide will show you the steps you need to take to access and replace your WiFi chip.

What you need

Step 1 WiFi Chip

Flip over the laptop and push the sliding lock to the right (or whichever side indicates it with a symbol.)
After that is done, carefully pull off the back piece. It should look similar to the second photo.

Step 2

Now that we have the back piece off, we will need to unscrew the two screws holding the WiFi chip in place.
Make sure not to lose the screws as they will be needed to replace the WiFi chip.
