Introduction
Does your Fellow Stagg EKG go above the set temperature or spew hot water from the holes in the cap? This simple trick fixed the issue for me. You only need a 2 mm triangle screwdriver. No replacement parts needed.
What you need

Remove the three triangle screws from the bottom of the kettle.

I used the iFixit 2 mm triangle bit from the Mako Precision Bit Set.

Push the temperature sensor all the way into its slot.

Mine had become loose. I could hear a rattle when shaking the kettle.

Mine stuck to its place quite snuggly with a gentle push.

Consider adding glue or tape if you're afraid of the sensor becoming loose again.
