  • Push the speaker out of the phone using the spudger.

  • Remove the speaker from the decorative housing by pulling on the wires.

  • The speaker can be replaced if needed.

Add Note Edit Step 11 — Removing the Logic Board  ¶ 

  • Using the spudger or your fingers, unplug the connection that connects the display screen to the logic board.

Add Note Edit Step 12  ¶ 

  • Use a spudger to pry the logic board away from phone housing at the tabs on both sides of the phone at the pictured location. Some force may be required.

  • The logic board will pop out.

  • The logic board can be replaced if needed.
