What you need

  1. Dell Inspiron n5110 Hard Drive Replacement, Remove the Screws: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the two screws that secure the hard-drive assembly to the system board.

    • Slide the hard-drive assembly to disconnect it from the system-board connector.

    • Lift the hard-drive assembly off the system board.

    • Remove the four screws that secure the hard drive to the hard-drive bracket.

    • Lift the hard drive away from the hard-drive bracket.

    • Place the NEW hard drive in the hard-drive bracket.
