Dell Inspiron 531s RAM Replacement or Upgrade

What you need

  1. Dell Inspiron 531s RAM Replacement or Upgrade, Opening the computer: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the two thumbscrews from the back of the system.

    • Remove the side panel by pulling it to the back.

    • Push the two clips next to the RAM outwards and take out the stick.

    • Once you have the old stick of RAM out, just follow this guide in reverse.

    • When installing the new RAM, make sure the two clips are facing outward.
