Dell Inspiron 530 RAM Replacement

This guide will demonstrate removing the computer's RAM.

What you need

  1. Dell Inspiron 530 RAM Replacement, Side Panel: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Place the case on its side.

    • Locate and remove the two 13.1 mm thumbscrews.

    • Slide the side panel towards the back and remove.

    • Locate the four sticks of RAM.

    • Locate the two plastic tabs on the ends of a RAM stick.

    • Press down on the two tabs together until RAM stick is ejected.
