Casio CTK-501 Buttons Replacement

What you need

    • Flip the keyboard over so that the bottom is facing up.

    • Remove the twenty-seven 12 mm screws from the dark-grey panel using a Phillips #2 screwdriver.

    • Remove the bottom panel by lifting and pulling it towards yourself.

    • Flip open the top half of the keyboard.

    • Set the keyboard onto the bottom half with the internal parts facing up.

    • Be careful not to let the bottom drop.

    • Remove the nine screws from the brown circuit board that has an attached ribbon, with a #0 Phillips.

    • Remove the circuit board, by pulling upwards.

    • Remove the buttons.

  7. Casio CTK-501 Buttons Replacement: step 7, image 1 of 1
    • Place the new buttons into the slot, and push downward in the slot.
