Edit Step 1 Back Panel  ¶ 

  • Locate the slit on the back panel.

  • Using the iPod opening tool, pry open the back panel.

Edit Step 3 Battery  ¶ 

  • Locate the slit between the top of the battery and the casing

  • Gently apply pressure on the top of the battery to trigger the spring release

Edit Step 5 LCD Screen  ¶ 

  • Remove the two screws to the left and right of the battery compartment as indicated using a Torx T6 screwdriver

  • Flip over the device.

  • Using a plastic opening tool, gently remove the Screen Film, starting on one side, as shown.

    • Do not use excessive force as it may cause warping of the film.

  • Once one side has been loosened, gently ease the entire film off.

  • Insert the plastic opening tool in the seam along the side of the device.

  • Make your way around the entire device applying moderate force with the tool.

  • The Faceplate can then be lifted off.

Edit Step 8  ¶ 

  • Using a Torx T6 Screwdriver, remove the indicated LCD screws.

  • Remove the Keyboard Interface by using the Universal Tweezer tool to pry it off.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
