My neighbor's key broke off the end for her 2001 Passat. She knowing that I am quite handy, asked me if I would try repairing it. I fixed it twice before. Now, instead of simply applying JB Weld again to the minimal surfaces and temporarily fixing it again, I want to disassemble it and repair the key with silver solder. I need a diagram of taking it apart so I can reassemble it so it functions like a new fold-up key fob should. This is such a handy thing, I just need to a diagram. C'mon, VW? Be a sport?
