Everytime I move my G4 it freezes up in a kernal panic and OS X crashes and I have to restart. What could be causing this?

Loose logic board connections. If it is fine when still but not when moved, you need to open it up and push in all the connections.
Shouldn't be moving a laptop when running that's a good way to kill the HD remember that those platters are spinning at 5 to 7Krpm and the heads are microns away.
It's much better to sleep or shut down before moving. '''A laptop is not truly "portable" as in an iPod, radio or cell phone, but more like a folding chair, or tent... in that it's small enough to be moved, but not moved while using it.
Same applies to Macbook Airs without SSD.
