I've repaired a few laptops and found some screws with blue adhesive. But in disassembling my G4 Powerbook, it seems that nearly every screw has the stuff. In the past, I've ignored this upon re-assembly, but I'm wondering:

Is it important to refresh the loctite (assuming that's what it is)? If so, is there a particular type to use?
