I haven't ever opened up my wired keyboard, or compared it with a wireless keyboard, but I'm wondering if anybody knows if it is possible to use a wireless keyboard's insides and put them in a wired keyboard and have the whole thing work via a wireless connection and have the 10-key still work.
Any insight would be awesome. Thanks!

Err, not for less money than a third party wireless keyboard with num. pad would cost

nope, that isn't somthing do-able, the keyboards are really hard to open, but, if you look for an older apple wireless keyboard, they are like the pro keyboards, but clear acrylic and white keys, but they really only look good with G4-Based macs, and iMac G5's but, they do have the numeric keypad, and are bluetooth wireless, they go for about $50 on places like ebay.
