What should I do to max out my MacBook 13" 1.83 GHz (Core Duo)?

It has a combo drive so obviously replace it with a super drive but what kind is the best and so on? If any body out there knows exactly the best upgraded part for everything from the airport to the ram and what not I would greatly appreciate it as I am a rook taking apart my laptop to fix the LCD. While I'm in here I'm realizing I should probably replace things inside it with superior components so this is where I am!

Thanks a lot ..for any one willing to help

Check out our MacBook Core Duo Upgrade section, and let me know if that doesn't answer your question.

Thanks man! Is this stuff the best top notch things I could be putting into my MacBook?

Typically, just replacing the RAM and Hard Drive (and in your case, the optical drive as well) will maximize your potential. So check that out!

Also, You might install Snow Leopard, it will free up HD space, I installed it and it recovered 40 gigs of HD space. HD is a 500 GB western Digittal
