iight my 5th gen 160g will turn on with only the apple logo on screen (nothing else) and it will just freeze that way.... i tried reseting it, and i tried pluging it in (via usb) and itunes wont notice it, neither will my computer.... i have another ipod which works perfectly on my computer.... does anybody know how i can fix my ipod instead of me buying a new one??

I'd make the assumption that the hard drive has died, especially since iTunes is not recognizing the iPod.

Sadly though, I don't think we sell the hard drive you'd need.
