Ipod Nano 4g Display removing - but how ?

at the first, my english is bad - sorry.

I have one ipod nano 4g with a broken LCD and i want to remove it to take a new LCD in it.

But my problem is, that i can't get out the old display.

step 8 and 9 is my problem.

there is a kabel clicket in the display and i can pull the mainboard just 6mm out of the case.

and the LCD i can to only 6mm out of the ipod nano case.

what do i wrong?

have i to many fear to take a defekt and must i pull stronger?

i hope anyone can read my bad english and can help me =)

The click wheel connector on the bottom holds in the case and under the LCD connector is a piece of metal it is stuck to make sure that is free from the metal. I will be hoping ifixit will post my ipod nano 4th GEN disassemble guide as theirs isn't to good
