If you decide to drill it out remember you only want to remove the head of the screw. That will leave a portion of the screw to grab with pliers, but I would recommend a surgical Hemostat (clamp. If you suspect Loctite may have been used try pressing a soldering iron to the screw to melt the Loctite.
