xtian I bought this used topcase for my macbook core duo 2, 2.0 mhz. The keyboard works fine when just pluggged it into the board. The trouble is when the last screw is put in and the battery loaded. I loose the backspace, space, right bracket, quote and question mark key functionality. The trouble goes away when the keyboard is loose.
The keyboard is absolutely clean. What gives?

Kellye I can't answer your question, but I anxiously await whoever does. We are having some issues with our keyboard as well after removing the topcase.

xtian The original was a version one. The replacement was a version two. I used the original with the new bottom case and there was no trouble. Will post news as it occurs. Also think I jacked my isight when I replaced the LCD lid (*&*^)!
