Hi, can anyone suggest what might be wrong with my MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo, it will not shut down or restart, just clears the dock and icons then the desktop stays with spinning pinwheel for ever until I hold down the power button. This is getting to be a problem as I can't update any software cos the auto-restart doesn't work. Have repaired disk with Disk Utility but still the same.
