I have a macbook that had issues ejecting discs. I thought it might be a drive issue and found a replacement from a water damaged MacBook and replaced the drive, only to have the same issues.
How important is it to have the lower bracket so that it slides a bit? The repair guide says it should slide a bit and I was wondering what purpose this had. Also, how hard is it to line up the slot in the case with the drive? Should this "just work" or is there an art to it?
Thanks,
Kenny.
