oh my god i hate this white screen! :( i tried reseating it on and off for 1 straight hour its not working!!!! But thanks to gerath its working pretty well now THANKS:)

Hi Joshuanbernard.

have you tried removing the motherboard entirly and then replacing it .

very difficult to do but if you remove the motherboard attach the 3 screen connectors

and then just replace the board . Once in push down were the 2 screws meet the battery ,with the screen still kind a flopping about. and insert your power cable.

Hi all

I found this link on youtube by mistake, I tried as he suggested on my black iPhone 3s (it didn't have a white screen problem) but it did as he has suggested.

if u get the white screen try pushing the power button the home button and volume up . its like hard reset but works a bit different

guys i used to have the same problem even with ipod classic some times but the solution is to restart your itouch/iphone,cause it needs to recognize the new hardware!

SOLUTION

lets say that u have an ipod touch 4g n u just change the completly assamble(lcd screen n digitizer) u put all the pieces back in the right place,now what u see is just a white screen,u turn off the screen (sleep mode) n turn it back on againg n u still getting the white screen ,so what u have to do is simply hard restart ur divice!

1-press home n power bottoms till your divece turns off

2-keep holding both bottons but release'em as soon as u see the apple logo(otherwise u will end in recovery mode)

3-after your device turns on u will see the miracle!! so now u can leave a coment!

PD:if u just see part of your screen (the res in white) then problably u didnt plug the screen's flex cable properly or the LCD screen is damaged(happen to me some times)
