Yes but during all the booting sequence the computer was always going to sleep and I had to push the space bar to allow it to wake up and continue the booting. I could only see the desktop for 2 or 3 seconds until it goes back to sleep showing a black screen. When I was connected to an external monitor the macbook was working as it should but the internal screen was off.
