Identification and Background ¶
The first generation of iPods ever released featured a mechanical click wheel with four control buttons around its edge. It came in both 5 and 10 GB capacities and featured a backlit non-color display. Even if you know what iPod you have, a quick trip through our iPod identification page couldn't hurt.
