Identification and Background ¶
The Sansa e260R was released by SanDisk as a high-capacity flash player in 2006. It can hold music, video and photo files and as a member of the e200R series, it has Rhapsody support and the ability to play WMA and RAX ACC files. This device includes a removable battery, a Micro SD expansion slot and a 1.8 inch color screen. The small, sleek design that provides a user-friendly interface is a strong competitor in the media player market.
On the back of the Sansa e260R is a series of engravings reading SanDisk, 4.0 GB, and Sansa. The trait that differs between the Sansa e260 and the e260R is the Rhapsody engraving on the back.
