The Xiaomi Redmi AirDots (also called Mi AirDots) are wireless in-ear earphones produced by Xiaomi, a Chinese electronics company. Xiaomi produces and invests in smartphones, mobile apps, laptops, home appliances, bags, shoes, consumer electronics, and other products. Each Mi AirDot features a 7.2 mm driver and DSP technology for high-quality audio playback. Users can stream from any Bluetooth-compatible device. When paired with a smartphone, users can use the built-in microphone to make and receive hands-free calls. The AirDots include a charging case for storage and extended battery life; the case can be recharged with a micro-USB cable that is not sold with the AirDots. The devices include touch controls on each earbud.
The included charging case is advertised to provide up to 11 additional hours of power to the Mi AirDots. Without the charging case, the Redmi AirDots can run for up to four hours; with the case, the earphones can run up to 15 hours of playback before the case needs to be recharged. To recharge the AirDots, users simply need to place them into the case and the Dots will charge automatically. The charging case must be charged via a micro-USB cable.
Each AirDot includes touch controls on the exterior of the earbud that allows users to manage playback or interact with the mobile device's digital assistant.
