[summary] Apple's line of MacBook Pro laptops was intended for the professional and power users. The MacBook Pro line includes the MacBook Pro 15" Core Duo, MacBook Pro 15" Core 2 Duo, MacBook Pro 15" Unibody, MacBook Pro 17" Core Duo, MacBook Pro 17" Core 2 Duo, and the MacBook Pro 17" Unibody.[/summary]
The MacBook Pro laptop was first introduced in January 2006 and replaced the PowerBook G4, Apple's earlier professional line of laptops. The original MacBook Pro model came in an aluminum enclosure, a trend that continues with this line of laptops today.
