Background and Identification ¶
From 1998 to 2000 the Corolla was offered in VE, CE, and SE trim levels. In 2001 the VE trim was no longer available, and the S trim level became available as a sport model. All 1998-2002 Corolla models feature a 1.8 L I4 engine and an automatic or manual transmission.
