Mac is Slow/Sluggish - Hardware Test Error 4SNS/1/40000000:ID0R 6.66

Hi Team,
Overnight I encountered the above error and after taking it to the Apple Authorised Service Centre, they confirmed that the Logic Board has to be replaced.
Please can you guys let me know if the Logic is repairable in this case or do I have to get it replaced?

PS: I have tried all the tricks in the book. e.g SMC, PRAM etc reset and clean installation of Snow Leopard as well but in vain.
Another thing I would like to mention is that the Mac runs fine in Safe Mode.
